Lunar Eclipse in Washington DC: Tuesday December 21, 2010 (Pics)

When Earth’s big fat ass gets between the Sun and the Moon, you get a spectacular show as the Moon is cast into darkness behind its shadow. Much like Rush Limbaugh and his poor shoes; forever lost the shadows from a much larger body. The little light that does reach the moon casts an evil reddish pale across its face like the political map of the USA after the 2010 midterm elections. It looks as if it were conquered by Space-faring Republicans. God save the Moon.

(p.s. I know what you’re thinking. “Why is this on DC Clubbing? Aren’t they those people who do DC Clubs?” Well, yeah. But, I’d certainly consider this DC Nightlife, wouldn’t you?)
