Venue Overview

Different areas, different vibes, amazing music; deceptive title. This ‘Lounge’ plays host to some of the best club nights in DC. Armin van Buuren, #1 DJ in the world (DJ Magazine), voted Lima his Best New Club Visited (worldwide) of 2010.

Lima’s critically acclaimed Latin-infused world cuisine is overseen by Executive Chef Reynold Mendizabal. A menu highlighted by fresh ceviches, cured meats and Spanish seafood and meat entrees has earned the restaurant high praise from patrons. The customer reviews on yelp.com tell the story.

Passing through velvet ropes onto the patio, one is generally met by Washington’s most attractive party goers. The crowd may be diverse, but the style is consistent; blazers, shoes, mini-skirts and high heels. Lima’s 20s & 30s crowd looks good and parties hard.

Spacious and fully equipped, the various gradients of Lima Lounge boast state-of-the-art sound systems, intelligent lighting, plush seating, ample dance space, digital projectors and intimate nooks to satisfy all moods.

Lima’s lounge provides two seating areas, a bar and projectors; the perfect place to get away from it all. With colorful lights and atmospheric pieces hanging from the ceiling, a dance floor with a 40 ft bar on one side and roped off VIP on the other, and a raised DJ booth; the main floor has hosted some of the world’s biggest acts.

Parties
  • Happy Hour: Monday – Friday, 4pm – 7pm
  • Dinner: Monday – Thursday 4pm – 7pm, Friday 4pm – 11pm, Saturday 5pm – 11pm
  • Mondays feature complimentary Salsa lessons (beginner and intermediate) from 9 – 10:30PM, Ladies Open Bar 9 – 11pm, and the very best in Latin rhythms by DJ Bemba.
  • Tuesdays belong to the students of DC. Panorama Productions hosts one of the top college nights in DC on the main floor and a packed Latin party on the third floor.
  • Wednesdays feature an extended happy hour and hip-hop/top 40/international mash ups by a rotating line up of DC’s finest.
  • Thursdays are Glow. When David Guetta was asked where his loyalties lie he had one response, “Club Glow in Washington DC rocks!” Week in and week out Glow and Lima allow DC nightlife to get up close and personal with top acts such as Avicii, Robbie Rivera, Afrojack, Chuckie and Calvin Harris.
  • Fridays feature a high-end crowd requiring bottle service on every level of the club. With electro/house on the main floor and international upstairs, Fridays at Lima cater to a crowd that truly represents our nation’s capital.
  • Saturdays Saturdays, like Fridays, feature a rotating line up of DJs catering to DC’s high-end, international crowd.

[...] From: Australia | Style: House Famous Tracks: We’re All No One, Irresistible, This Kind of Love Best Known For: They’d say they’re best known for ‘being the luckiest girls in the wooooorld!!!!!!!’   The infectiously fun Nervo sisters are back in DC nightlife for the third time in 2011! They’re definitely two of our favorites! There’s never a dull moment, they’ve always got their smiles on and their music is pure fun. They debuted at Ultrabar’s Pop event, rocked out at Identity Festival DC and now it’s time for a proper Glow debut at Lima! [...]
