Celebrate NYE 2013 in Washington DC at Barcode Restaurant, Bar and Lounge. Tops in Washington Post Happy Hour voting, Barcode is a place for bar, lounge and club goers alike. It breathes a casual elegance into DC nightlife, the perfect distance between the stuffy lounges, dive bars and mega clubs that characterize ‘the scene.’For tables call 202.955.9001 For GA tickets visit wantickets.com/barcodenye13
One of DC’s hottest Latin parties is at Tattoo Bar on K Street. Caliente Thursdays feature the Latin/International sounds of DJs Suelto and Enemy with Pretty Boi Mo on the mic.
Tattoo Bar offers an intimate setting with edgy decor. Part bar and part club, Tattoo offers lounge appeal without a stuffy pretentious atmosphere. Plush couches and a captivating bar top command attention as soon as one enters. If a semi-private party is more your speed, there’s an option for that as well. No matter what your desires, Tattoo Bar finds a way to please.
DC nightlife’s consolation prize: A new city policy that allows for extended alcohol sales on holidays.
The District of Columbia’s 2013 fiscal budget (effective 10/01/12) allows venues to apply for extended liquor permits on the evening before holidays such as Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and even Inauguration Day.
What does this mean for you?
It means you can party harder, better, faster, stronger when you have work off for a holiday! Work has been cancelled, everyone’s in from out of town and you definitely want to be out partying later than 2AM. Well… now you can!
REMEMBER: Extended bar hours do not mean you can drive drunk through the streets of DC blasting your horn and screaming out the window. Be smart and be safe.
Washington DC’s ABC affiliate recently reported live from Ultrabar, profiling the venue as a prime destination for DC parties:
57 bars applied for permits and 42 received them, thus earning extended hours for Columbus and Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and more next year.
When: Saturday November 3, 2012 Complimentary Hors d’Oeuvres, Champagne, Beer and Wine starting at 8PM
Barcode is extremely proud to celebrate a 2nd year of business on November 3 with food, drinks and friends. From the very start, Barcode has been defined not by what it is, but what it can be.
From power lunches and happy hours to wine and beer tastings, dance parties, sporting events and more, Barcode has managed to set itself apart with diverse offerings and a menu of classics with a twist.
Barcode has been voted ‘Best Happy Hour’ by the Washington Post and hosted a diverse range of patrons from former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to 5-time and current #1 DJ in the world Armin van Buuren.
