Pauly D tells us his wild stories as a DJ and guido while backstage with us in DC before ripping up the dancefloor at his sold-out show at Glow in October!
Pauly D is doing what few have done. He’s exposing a pop audience to good dance music. A DJ long before his rise to fame on Jersey Shore, Pauly D is now able to pull ‘em in with PoP and put ‘em on to guys like Avicii, Wolfgang Gartner, Dennis Ferrer and Afrojack. Big ups braaaahhhTweet
When Avicii first played for us in July 2010, he put on an a killer show that filled the house nicely. (See pics) But just three short months later, when Avicii returned to Washington DC, he absolutely ripped DC a new one! It was packed wall-to-wall with rabid screaming fans seeking more Bromance! (See pics)
With such a rapid ascent to fame in just a three-month period, can you imagine how nuts its going to be now that three more months have passed? We had to move it to a much larger venue to hold the massive crowd expected when Avicii returns to DC on Jan 15!
Exclusive Interview with Avicii in Washington DC–
October 21, 2010
If you are one of the few who still haven’t caught on that Avicii packs the house and puts on an incredible show, you should probably come by Glow at Fur Nightclub DC on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 to see what all the fuss is about!Tweet
Club Glow had Will.I.Am DJ at Fur after the Black Eyed Peas performed at the Verizon Center. We had Afrojack spin at Lima… David Guetta is working with all of ‘em… hmmmm, I wonder what big things we have planned for 2011!!
When Guetta brought Will.I.Am to Club Glow @ Fur it was crazy!! We still can’t get over that night. Afrojack is without question THE premiere young DJ out there. No one other than Deadmau5 debuted higher in in the DJ Mag Top 100.Tweet
Any time the “S” word is uttered around Washington DC, people naturally start freaking out. No, I’m not talking about “shit”, I’m talking about “snow”.
Even though we’re only expecting a dusting of snow at best, people are canceling plans, raiding grocery stores, and stealing snowshovels from their neighbors all in fear of the impending barrage of white powder.
But because we’re a little more level-headed, we’re throwing a party! And I know what you’re thinking: Nobody comes out to clubs when it snows. Not true. Not when we’re the ones throwing the party.Tweet
Sure, you popped bottles just a few weeks ago for New Year’s Eve DC, but why not do it all over again ? Only this time, you’ll learn from your mistakes on New Year’s Eve and won’t black out and try to bounce across I-495 naked on a rusty pogo stick while belting out Justin Bieber songs at the top of your lungs. (it seemed like a good idea at the time) Consider this your second chance to do it proper!
