It’s Springtime in DC.

That means Cherry Blossoms, warmer temperatures [FINALLY], and most importantly: major concerts and festivals that will gear you up for the serious summertime lineups. Here is your guide to the best shows the DMV has to offer this season. Whether it’s the shows at Echostage, the outdoor mega concerts at Jiffy Lube Live, or the festivals at Merriweather Post Pavillion and the Pimlico Race Track — the DMV’s got it all. We’ve scouted some of the best gigs here, so if you want to grab seats for one of these must see concerts you better think fast, tickets are already on sale or nearly sold out for just about everything listed!

Dash Berlin

Spring Concerts in DC

When: May 1, 2015
Where: Echostage
Tickets: Wantickets ($30)
Bottle Service: | 202.503.2331

As a true icon of the electronic world, Dash Berlin is no stranger to the DJ Mag Top 100 poll. Having comfortably secured a place in the treasured Top 10 for the past three years, there is no doubt that Dash is at the very top of his game and has no plan to change that. You can see him at the DJ Mag ranked #18 nightclub in the world (#2 in the US) right here in DC at Echostage.

 M3 Rock Festival

Spring Concerts in DC

When: May 1-2, 2015
Where: Merriweather Post Pavillion
Tickets:Ticketfly($85- $850)

Now in its seventh year, the M3 Rock Festival has grown from an up-and-coming gathering to the definitive way to party for those of you who like a harder edge to their spring shows. The annual Kix-Off Party on Friday night with Quokken and Quiet Riot will get you amped for the main festival the next day, which features enough hard rock and hair metal bands to make your head spin (although, let’s be honest… that’s probably from the two cans of hairspray you used). Check out the full lineup here and get ready to go hard.

When: May 2, 2015
Where: Echostage
Tickets: Ticketmaster($27.50)

“Minneapolis is known for many things — pretty lakes, the Mall of America, lutefisk. But 17 years ago, hip-hop act Atmosphere transformed the city into something else entirely: a nexus from which underground rap spiraled-out to the masses. And thanks to the duo’s indefatigable touring habits, Top 20-charting albums, and their galvanizing artist-owned label Rhymesayers (MF Doom, Aesop Rock), they’re still pushing the boundaries of what indie rap can mean.” –   I.M.P. is bringing some strong shows to Echostage this year, and Atmosphere is the first of many.

When: May 9, 2015
Where: The Fillmore
Tickets: Live Nation ($38)

Singer and songwriter Ciara’s first tour in six years commences this May and will be hitting up the Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland. The tour culminates with the release of her new album, Jackie, scheduled to debut this May.

Tommy Trash and Kill the Noise

When: May 14, 2015
Where: Ultrabar
Tickets: Wantickets ($30)
VIP Bottle Service: (202) 271-1171

The amazing part of this little get together isn’t that Tommy Trash has contributed to remixes by the likes of Tiesto and Aoki or the fact that Kill the Noise collaborated with Skrillex for his first album. The really incredible part of this show is that both of these players have, on separate occasions, sold out the mega club that is Echostage. Louder is a tour for the superfans, and there’s no better place to show them some love than at Ultrabar.

Lil Wayne

Spring Concerts DC

When: May 16, 2015
Where: Echostage
Tickets: Ticketmaster ($48.40)
Bottle Service: | 202.503.2331

Lil Wayne is set to embark on a new tour in support of his Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mix tape, which recently hit four-million downloads online. The New Orleans emcee announced his upcoming tour’s nightclub dates via Rap-Up, and the performances are part of his series of Release Partiez, one of which you can catch at Echostage this spring.

Eric Prydz

Where: Echostage
Tickets: Wantickets ($40)

Where: Jiffy Lube Live
Tickets:Live Nation ($54- $102)

The Dave Matthews Band will be back on the road again this year, kicking off a sprawling summer trek through North America. If that fact in and of itself isn’t awesome enough, the group will also be performing two full sets each night. That’s right: TWO. One electric, one acoustic. A very special evening indeed, because these shows are going to feature both the career-spanning music you already know and love as well as a few new and unique songs each night.
