Join Semi Precious Weapons and Lady Starlight for an After-Party following their appearance with Lady Gaga at the Monster Ball! Pop Nightlife brings you this special Tuesday Night Event at Ultrabar Nightclub on 9/7!

Semi Precious Weapons is the group that “splits the difference between AC/DC and Queen, fronted by the fabulously fierce Justin Tranter.”  It’s hard to argue with a band who expresses such an impassioned sentiment.  And audiences across the country ain’t fightin’ with the raw power and electricity that pulsates throughout a Semi Precious Weapons performance.  Their message is clear- music can be dangerous, dirty, and fun.

Lady Starlight is renowned the world over for being the inspiration, original creative partner and DJ for recording artist, Lady GaGa. A key player in Lady GaGa’s creative team: Haus of GaGa, she has collaborated with the singer since 2007 on everything from fashion styling, onstage performance concepts, and set design. LADY STARLIGHT filmed the singer on her 2009 Fame Ball Tour for her behind the scenes, online tour diaries. She is currently performing around the world on Lady GaGa’s 2010 Monster Ball Tour, opening the nights festivities with her rock’n roll DJ set/go-go act.

Sean Tyas

It just warms our hearts to see Sean Tyas climibing in the world rankings. He entered the DJ Mag top 100 at 54 in 2008, climbed to 45 in 2009, and this year, with all the touring he’s done, it’s almost scary to think where he’s headed.

A local act from NYC, Sean relocated to Switzerland a few years ago in order to better hone his skills as a trance DJ. Apparently it worked! With productions like ‘Lift,’ and the recent ‘Seven Weeks,’ as well as ridiculous remixes of ‘Shipwrecked,’ and Tiesto’s ‘Suburban Train,’ Sean Tyas has established himself as a true savant when it comes to trance production.

2010 sees Sean heading up his new Tytanium imprint and working on his first artist-album. He has also been touring like madman doing Trance Energy gigs everywhere. The world knows Sean Tyas intimately, it’s time we did too.

Des McMahon

Des McMahon has been making serious waves in the past year. His releases on Kubik, Stampgevaar and CGI garnered praise from the likes of John Askew, Tom Colontionio, Mark Sherry, Adam Foley and Will Atkinson. His recent “Rainmaker/Crack the Whip” EP on Discover Records is currently supported by John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Aly & Fila, Tyas, Askew, Colontonio and more. “Rainmaker” is destroying clubs in Ibiza as we speak! The Philly native and rising junior at American University will bring a mix of funky techno, lush progressive and driving trance to the big room at Fur!

DJ Enferno, DC’s native son and Madonna’s very own DJ from her Sticky and Sweet world tour, will be performing live this Friday, August 20th at POP at Ultrabar Nightclub and Lounge in Washington DC!

DJ Enferno, was Ultrabar’s main floor resident DJ for over two years until he got his life-changing call, to join “The Material Girl” on tour as her opening DJ.  A local DJ with mad mixing skills.  The winner of the 2003 DMC Turntablist Contest! Funkerman made sure there was no confusion when he titled his recent album. “House for All,” really sums it up. No matter what your specific taste in music is, the funky one is guaranteed to please your sonic palette.

As a DJ, producer, remixer, and head of a label, Funkerman has carved out a slice of every major aspect of electronic dance music. This new album was the next logical step. And in accordance with the recent trend of house music gaining popularity within a mass audience, the funky one has incorporated elements of pop, rock and funk in order to give everyone something to love. He’s got jazz musicians, rappers and other EDM producers all over this thing. Hence the name, “House for All.”

Come on out Thursday night and find out what happens when you cross a Dutch house sensation with rap, disco, funk and that sexy Glow@Lima crowd. Yowza!!!

He’s on the cusp of releasing his new album called “Exit Studio Sweatshop.” We’ve linked the video for the first single “Who’s Your Daddy,”

He has remixed, produced and arranged for David Bowie, Kylie Minogue, MSTRKRFT, Culture Club, Moby, Robbie Rivera and many others.
