Lil Jon’s return to the booth has been a long time coming. His DJ set at Ultrabar Nightclub in Washington DC was nuts. The Don Julio and Hennessy flowed like the Nile, the girls, well… you can watch the video. DC nightlife was out in full force and loved every minute of it!

And once you hear him talk you’ll see, he’s one of the more intelligent personalities in the rap game.
Pop Nightlife at Ultrabar happens every Friday. It’s one of the biggest events on Fridays in DC. With 4 floors, 2 mezzanines, 6 bars, VIP and guest list options, it’s no wonder why artists like Chachi, Enferno and Scene continue to return! Some raw footage of DC nightlife going bonkers at Club Glow at Fur Nightclub as David Guetta, who voted the DC party best venue of 2010, drops Alice Deejay – Better Off Alone (Laidback Luke Remix) and mixes it into Diddy – Dirty Money featuring Skylar Grey – Coming Home (Dirty South Remix).
The infamous Alice Deejay was a Dutch EDM group who made it big with their 1999 hit ‘Better off Alone.’ It reached #3 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart and #27 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rapper Wiz Khalifa sampled it in his 2008 single ‘Say Yeah’ which goes to show that… well, we’ll let you come to your conclusions.
P. Diddy’s foray into dance music was inevitable, although the pairing with Dirty South has been a nice surprise. The original was co-written and co-produced by Jay-Z. Dragan’s Coming Home remix has given the track credibility amongst fans of electronic music.
With David Guetta behind the decks at Club Glow Washington DC, dropping tracks by Luke and Dirty South to the DC nightlife audience only further strengthens dance music’s grasp on the casual club goer and American mainstream crowd.
The return of Mya to the spotlight comes with an added bonus for her native Washington DC fans. Top DC nightlife venues Lima Lounge and Vetro (Lima’s VIP level) serve as backdrop for the top 40 superstar’s latest track, produced by Club Glow DJ Cedric Gervais.
With Mya being a native Washingtonian and Cedric being a favorite of DC nightlife from his performances at Glow Washington DC; Vetro and Lima Lounge provided the perfect locations for them to shoot. With local talents Nicholas Cambata and Douglas Sonders of 8112 Studios in the director/producers seats, Love is the Answer is the quintessential representation of DC art, DC nightlife, DC clubbing and DC film at its finest!
“Working with Cedric Gervais has been an brilliant experience… “Love is the Answer” is only the beginning… we have great synergy in the studio and have so much fun, which makes for energetic, fun and great songs! Cedric is a world-class artist and entertainer whose soundscape translates across the world and it is a pleasure to be able work with him on “Love is the Answer” with many more to come.” – Mya
The party animal of celebrity DJs, Chachi is one person you never have to ask twice to do a shot. Considered by many to be NY’s Hottest DJ, he can name Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Paris Hilton and Eva Mendes as some of his most high-profile fans. Of course, Jigga and Paris are nothing compared to the DC nightlife crowd that Chachi dazzles every month at his PoP Nightlife residency at Ultrabar!
His tireless work ethic and mission to be one with the crowd, communicating through music (and shots) makes him a fan favorite tried and true. Remixes / Bootlegs by DJ Chachi
A celebrity favorite and PoP at Ultrabar DC nightlife resident, DJ PS1 is one of NY’s most sought after talents. He rules the east coast, rocking out in chic locations from NY to Miami. Britney has jumped in the booth with him, the gossip mags all want a piece of him, and Ultrabar has him! Every time he steps foot in the booth, DC nightlife. He claims to never spin a song for more than 20 seconds. His ability to constantly switch it up is what keeps people on the dance floor involved.
Named breakthrough DJ of the year by Axwell, with a freshly approved Lady Gaga remix, headliner at the Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel in Miami… yeah, the last year has treated Thomas Gold quite well. This guy will be around for many years to come.
At the core of DC’s best Friday night party is DJ Geometrix. Every week he is dropping the freshest sounds and picking up what works and what doesn’t from the nation’s best. He has molded himself into DC’s super act.
He held a three year residency at Amnesia Ibiza and has remixed Queen, the Pet Shop Boys and the B52s. In essence, Glenn Morrison has better range than Reggie Miller, Robert Horry and Ray Allen combined. Ya, we just went there.
He has worked on stuff for Dev, LMFAO, Far East Movement and more. He was also brought on to help produce music for Rihanna’s upcoming world tour. Enferno’s also remixing and reworking hits by the King of Pop himself for Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour!
