One may think DC Fashion Week’s featured designers will be more or less the same, but on the contrary. With design inspirations from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Canada, Pakistan and more, the following will be sure to impress and inspire:

Aphropolitan, one of the many brands that will be featured, is particularly unique and eclectic with an African flare to its modern style. Sourcing local fabrics from Lagos, Nigeria, the brand creates bold, affordable fashion which enables them to give back to the communities they serve. Sure to raise some eyebrows this season, Aphropolitan’s preview is anticipated to take DC by surprise.

Made in the USA and newly established in DC this year, sPACYcLOUd is a collaboration of designers that gear towards urban street style. Although the collection only includes jackets, the attention they bring is enough to play up an entire outfit. Watching them go down the runway this season will definitely be a sight you do not want to miss.

Robbie on the other hand, continues to thrive within his ‘Juicy’ brand, touring, releasing tracks and getting ready for WMC’s top day party.
