Georgetown’s Frightening Halloween Traffic

This past weekend D.C. was packed with Halloween events, but it’s not over yet.  Georgetown will be packed tonight with costumed revelers, which naturally will result in a traffic and parking nightmare.

Parking restrictions and road closures will make driving through Georgetown a frightening ordeal with K and M Streets and areas along Wisconsin Avenue  restricted  until 6AM tomorrow.

Many side streets will also be closed, with an exception of residents and employees at local shops. They include 27th through 34th Streets along with N, O and P Streets. Those streets will close at 6:30 tonight and reopen around 3AM. Police say they may close additional streets depending on the crowd size.
